Pinch Pot Clay Workshop

In this workshop, we will be working with a sphere of clay to form a chalice with the technique of a double-sided pinch pot! Having a chalice in your cupboard makes drinking everything a delight.

Using the time-honored technique of pinch pots, you'll shape and mold your clay into a beautiful and functional chalice. Embrace the joy of getting your hands dirty as you add your personal touch to every curve and contour of your personalized chalice.

Pinch pots can be tricky with long nails.

VIBE:

Our cozy worktables provide the perfect setting to relax and get into your creative while enjoying a cup of tea.

FIRING AND PICK UP:

Once you are complete, choose your glaze option and leave it with us to fire. After a few weeks, return to pick up your finished piece. We work with mid-fire stoneware and your piece will be dishwasher and microwave-safe.

AGE:

This workshop is suitable for ages 14 to 100, minors must be accompanied by a participating adult.

ROGUE OPTIONS:

If you are not keen on a chalice, consider using the pinch pot technique to make a little matcha bowl, snack bowl or trinket dish.
