Mug - Soft Slab

Clay Workshop

We will be learning to make a mug out of a sphere of clay using the slab technique.

This workshop is different from some of our other slab workshops in that you will be guided through how to roll your very own slab from a sphere of clay. This simple technique is good for all levels and a great opportunity to make your own customized mug as well as step into your creative energy.  

With this newly learned technique, you may choose to come back again for one of our many sphere-style workshops!

VIBE:

Our cozy worktables provide the perfect setting to relax and get into your creative while enjoying a cup of tea.

FIRING AND PICK UP:

Once you are complete, choose your glaze option and leave it with us to fire. After a few weeks, return to pick up your finished piece. We work with mid-fire stoneware and your piece will be dishwasher and microwave-safe.

AGE:

This workshop is suitable for ages 12 to 100, minors must be accompanied by a participating adult.

ROGUE OPTIONS:

You could easily make a luminary or other vessel.
