Our plant and clay workshop is a unique and exciting collaboration between two local businesses that will take you on a journey.
Start your adventure at Mother Co., where you'll meet a variety of succulents and pick out the perfect little plant to bring with you to Dame Errant Clay. The plant is included in the workshop price, but if you find another plant buddy, Mother is offering 10% off to workshop participants, feel free to come a few minutes early if you want more time to look around.
Then, head over to our studio just a couple blocks away and create a one-of-a-kind pot that's perfect for your plant, many people choose to drive, but it is up to you and the weather!
Listen closely as your plant whispers its design ideas for its new home. We will guide you through the process of creating a coil pot and support you in adding it’s facial features, you can also leave it abstract if you wish.

The start time is 6pm at Mother Co., and we start the clay process when everyone arrives or 6:30, whatever is earliest.
VIBE:
Our cozy work tables provide the perfect setting to relax and get into your creative while enjoying a cup of tea.
FIRING AND PICKUP:
You choose which glaze you would like, leave your pot with us and we handle all of the glazing and firing. Your pot will be ready to pick up after a few weeks, giving you and your plant some time to get to know each other and bond while you wait.
And when you come back to pick up your finished pot, bring your plant and can swing by Mother to have your plant potted into it’s new pot with their signature soil, also choose from three options of top rock for no extra charge. Mother Co. is also offering 10% off additional purchases to students when they bring in their plant to be potted!

This workshop is suitable for ages 12 to 100 and is perfect for anyone looking to get creative and enjoy some peace.
No prior pottery experience is necessary. All materials will be provided.
